Hi,
Here are a couple more pieces I have finished stitcihng. they were both alot of fun to stitch. The first is Quaker Witch Hat from CindyMae Stitching. It is a set of 3 patterns. I have started on the pumpkin and then need to do the bat.
The second piece is from Lizzie Kate and called Quik Stitch Halloween Sampling. I used CC, WDW and GAST to stitch it.
Keep up with all the great halloween stitching. I enjoy seeing everyone's stitching.

Newbie
Hello everyone. I am so excited to be a part of this community. I love Halloween stitching and do it year round. I collect pumpkins and hope to share and learn much here. I am grateful I am a Spooky SAL.
Today I have posted a piece I stitched back in the 1990's, but just found it sandwiched between some zweigart linen cuts. I do remember it was originally stitched on orange, but I love Chartreuse and changed it....

Finally a couple finishes for me
YOu think, if i started this SAL blog i would have some posts on here. LOL Well i finally do! I have finished stitching Salem Witch by Primitive Needle. stitched her over 2 on a scrap piece of overdyed linen using DMC and finished into a pinkeep. I also just stitched Halloween by La D Da from this years JCS halloween issue. This was a really fun and very quick stitch. I stitched this one on 28ct vintage autumn gold over 1 using WDW Charcoal and Terra Cotta and finished into a little pillow using the whip stitch to finish it. I showed the pack of needles next to it to show it to scale.
Great finishes and WIP's everyone! I hope to be on here more often!!!!

Lizzie Kate Flip It /October
I started a huge project yesterday. I also started Lizzie Kate's October Flip It, because I'm gonna need a break from 32-count linen every once in awhile.
Lizzie Kate's Flip It's are a perfect size for Charles Craft Huck Kitchen Towels. Sometimes you need to fudge a little to make them fit nicely, but just a little.
Open House
Last weekend I made a new start.
This is the bed end form Open House by the Cross-Eyed Cricket.
Having declared on my blog that during October I was only going to stitch spooky stuff all I can say is roll on Thursday as I really want to get my teeth, or should it be needle? into this one.

Prairie Schooler Skeleton
This is from the Prairie Schooler Boo To You leaflet. I used Dmc glow-in-the-dark floss for the skeleton. It glows better than the picture shows. I love how it turned out. I know as soon as my boys see it they are both going to want one.

Quaker Halloweens - Bat
I picked up Workbasket's Quaker Halloweens - Bat from the finisher today. I have really mixed feelings.
The cost to me was $83.00 --- the finisher provided the backing material, cording, and stuffing. The cording is not well made. It has two pulls in the silver cord. I suggested plain, navy cording (although I did say I would permit "artistic license" to suit the project and to match the backing fabric --- maybe navy didn't look good with the backing fabric).I absolutely LOVE the fabric she used as backing. It picks up the colors in the bat nicely.
Anyway, it's cute. Not sure it's $88.00 cute. I think I'll try doing my own finishing the next time and see IF I can do it myself.

The New Stitching Is Wonderful!!
Happy Day Everyone!
I've been out of town for most of September and the last part of August, so I am just now playing catch up!
I LOVE what everyone has done since I've been gone! It was SO cheery to log on here and see so many BEAUTIFUL projects!! You put me all to shame! lol
Unfortunately, the lighting in our motel room was very poor, and it was even worse in the clinic waiting areas, even when I tried using my clip-on light. I need to get one of those portable OTT lights, I guess.
It is SO good to be home again, and you are all inspiring me to ignore this pile of laundry that I just took out of the suitcases, and the stacks of mail piled on the table, to just sit down and stitch awhile. Such naughty, naughty influences you all are! lol
Wishing everyone a beautiful day, and please keep sharing your wonderful Halloween pieces! They are guaranteed smile boosters!!!

Boo
The fabric is a Silkweaver solo. The words are in glow-in-the-dark Kreinik. I also added some for the eyes of the cat and pumpkin.
I really like how it turned out and I just love the cat.

Hello
Hello everyone. My name is Terri and I am new to this group. I absolutely love halloween designs. I have almost kitted up the Lizzie Kate Double Flip its for Halloween. I also have in the Wings the Trick or Treat Fairy. Just have to get my supplies and pick my fabric. Here is a picture I have done back in 2001. I cannot remember what Magazine it is from either. I used the glow in the dark threads on this piece.

Prairie Schooler Ornaments
Hi Everyone,
I have been having great fun stitching the new Prairie Schooler ornaments from her Boo to You leaflet. Here are two that are stitched. I had previously stitched another 2 and they are on another post. I am stitching on the 5th one and then only have 3 more to stitch. When they are all stitched I am going to make them into ornaments and then put them on a wreath. I am so excited to get this completed.
I have been admiring everyone elses finishes. They are all wonderful. I can stitch Halloween all year around, as it is my favorite.
Back to stitching.
Happy Halloween Stitching

I'm always forgetting to pop into this blog! Now I must go and see what you've all be doing that is spooky and wonderful! Thanks for looking!
