Mirabilia Halloween Fairy

This is my Mirabilia Halloween Fairy. I changed the tips of the wings to Rainbow Gallery threads so that they sparkled and I omitted the leaves at the bottom because it is for a project for a quilt. I love being a part of this blog! Thanks to all for sharing their spookys!

G'day!

G'day! I'm Sue from Western Australia and new to the blog. This is Smell My Feet by La-D-Da...I finished it last year for Halloween. I started Nora Corbett's Halloween Fairy last night and completed about 50 stitches and am hoping to have it finished by Halloween this year.....if I don't get distracted by too many Halloween ornaments! lol Halloween isn't huge here in Oz, but I've always liked the macarbe....and there is nothing like a special night once a year to celebrate all things spooky!

SB Happy Haunting

I'm new here, and am so glad that I found this group! I love decorating for Halloween, and have lots of spooky charts that I want to stitch. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone is stitching, and hoping that this keeps me motivated to make progress on my projects.

Right now, I am working Happy Haunting by Shepherd's Bush. My goal is to have this finished and framed in time for Halloween this year. I absolutely love the Jill Rensel mats that go with this one :)

Great halloween fabric

I can't wait to get started on my next Halloween piece. I was a Joann's this morning and I saw the most fabulous Aida...I usually like to stitch on Evenweave but I could NOT resist this fabric. It's 14ct and the color is Grasshopper. It's a bright, bright neon green that will be perfect for some Halloween ornaments. I'm thinking too, how cool it would be to use some Glow-in-the-Dark threads...this is going to be FUN!

Digging out

I have yet to dig mine out.
Glad to be part of the group and will be digging out my project so I can post what is already done on it.
Halloween is my husbands favorite decorating holiday and I'd love to throw some stitching in there.
Everyone's look so good so far.
Happy Stitching

Hello, Hello

I am very glad to be here. It seems that Halloween is becoming very popular with a growing number of stitchers. I don't think I have ever seen so many charts related to Halloween than I have seen in the last few years. Yup, I want to not only stash them all but stitch them up to. lol.
That is why I am here, to enable, to be enabled and hopefully get some stitched!

In my stash pile, I have a few Just Nan's, a couple of Sue Hillis' and of course the 1st Just Cross Stitch Halloween Ornament issue..... a girl can dream........

Happy stitching!

Halloween SAL

Hi! This blog is a Halloween SAL blog. There are no rules except that it is for Halloween stitching only, no other holidays, etc. There will be no specific days to stitch or designs to stitch, it is just to post your progress and finishes, etc on your Halloween stitching. Some of us really like Halloween stitching all year round and have alot of designs we want to stitch and this will be our site for encouragement, seeing designs that we might not have found yet, etc.

So if you are interested in joining us, please email me at kmdecker2000@yahoo.com and i will send you an invite. Blogger does have a limit of 100 per blog, so if we happen to reach that, that is where we stop accepting.
