I have been stitching on Halloween Fairy by Nora Corbett. I did change it a little bit. The Kreinik #4 braid is supposed to be 2 strands stitched over 2 but I thought it looked to bulky so I took it out and did it with 1 strand and I like it much better. Did any of you stitch this and make the change as well?

Shellen, I think that it is looking fantastic!
I haven't stitched this specific pattern. .yet, but have done some of her others, and thought that the single strand looked better too. More detailed and delicate, but still striking as an accent.
Now I'm so excited to see your progress on this!
I agree, I think that #4 two strands is pretty bulky...When I've stitched her other patterns I usually just use one strand...it lays better. I love how she is turning out so far...show us more soon!
