Open House

This weekend I finished Open House from The Cross-Eyed Cricket. This is stitched as charted with the recommended DMC floss on 28ct lilac cashel linen.

My next spooky stitch will be this one.

From Lavender Wing this is called Witches Riding By. It is stitched on 36ct linen with two strands of floss. Has anyone done this design? as I wonder if two strands of floss will make it look bulky.

What a colorful, fanciful piece! I haven't seen that pattern before either. I LOVE it!

As for your next project, I bought the pattern a couple of years ago, but haven't started it yet, so I'm afraid that I can't be much help. .but I'll be anxious to see how you are doing on it! lol

Open House is lovely. The colours are beautiful. You did a great job. Have you thought about doing a little test stitch on the 36 count fabric to find out if you like it using two strands or one?
