Thank You so much Karen for letting me join. My name is Linda and I have been stitching on and off for 30 years now. I have only been blogging for a few months now and I have really loved it. I also joined a few groups to make some extra friends and see all the other projects being done. I just finished a project called Halloween Moon by Brown Studios. It was a fun, fast and easy project to stitch that I think came out pretty good.
Happy Stitching Everyone

Onto business-I'm just about finished with All Hallow's Eve. I've made some progress but not a whole lot:
I don't know if I mentioned it, but there is supposed to be a row of pumpkins and vines below the numbers: I've decided to not stitch it. I'll just add the border like that at the top. I may add a spider charm to this, maybe to one of the keys just to add that touch of spookiness, which will be lost without the pumpkin row.
Well, it's raining cats & dogs right now, changing to snow later; perfect day to stay inside and stitch. Actually, I'm working on a woolfelt table runner with fall leaves on it. I will stitch afterwards!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Thine is the Trick and the Treat
Here is my start on Thine is the Trick and the Treat by Prairie Moon. I started this back in January (16th i believe) and only worked on it a couple days. Almost finished with the first page out of 6. I really need to pick it back up and finish up page 1 and then move forward. I really really like this one, very simple and enjoyable to stitch.

Thank You Karen..
for allowing me to join this fun SAL! I'm Shelly and my favorite holiday is Halloween. I'm the divorced mom of a teenage girl and I attend college part-time. I've been stitching for about 12 years and I'm addicted! Below is what I'm working on right now, in between homework and studying:
All Hallow's Eve
14ct fiddlers lite aida
Notforgotten Farm Designs
I'm doing the 'up for a challenge' stitching and this design is one of my UFO's that I began working on about 4 years ago. Isn't that a great tree?
If the Broom Fits Fly It!
14ct aida
the Cross Stitcher Oct. '03
I have the border and the backstitching left to do. I think I'll finish it as a pillow. Below is a pic of a pillow that I stitched up and finished:
Matilda the Witch
16 or 18ct black aida
Cross Stitch & Needlework mag
This was hard work for me because I used metallic threads on the border (it kept unraveling on me), and finished it by sewing the black cord on. The backing is the green check fabric in the pic. I still have the pattern and might make another for this upcoming Halloween.
I'm so glad I found this blog. I checked it out from the beginning and enjoyed seeing everything all of you have stitched. I've been adding to my stash and a good portion of it is spooky stuff!
Have a great stitchy day!

Witchy Washy progress
It's been a while since I posted - I got wrapped up in ornament stitching for the holidays for months! But I've made some progress on Witchy Washy in the last week - the skirt is finally done!
I'm so glad to be able to take a break from the black. For some reason I'm really having trouble keeping even tension with the Black Crow thread.
I also stitched the line across to the left and added the clothespins. I'm planning to get the socks stitched before I put this piece to the side for a couple weeks.
Thanks for looking!
