I was really happy with the way they came out, the color took well and was even. I also have used a dye called dylon that I used for another piece of fabric and a tote bag that worked just as well.
I know what you mean about finding dyes. The town I live in has a Wal-mart and their inventory isn't very good either. It seems like any time that they do get something I like in, they don't carry it for very long.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00889960502098779415noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8754956816629297957.post-56640217182554996522009-05-07T08:56:00.000-07:002009-05-07T08:56:00.000-07:00Did you use one straight color, or do a little cus...Did you use one straight color, or do a little custom blending?

I'm disappointed in the local stores Rit inventory. I remember years ago, the large displays of lots of colors (I used to dye and sell tie-dyed shirts, skirts, and even waterbed sheets! lol)

Now all I can find is black, brown, dark blue, and red, IF I'm lucky. Most stores don't even carry it anymore. I guess I'm going to have to resort to buying on-line.

Thanks for the info Lynn! You did an excellent job! The color looks rich and even. I hope that you try doing some more fabric dying!Suziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04050428036946794512noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8754956816629297957.post-87560947512548469422009-05-07T08:19:00.000-07:002009-05-07T08:19:00.000-07:00Thanks, Suzie.
